Directions to the Fire/Police Training Academy, 1770 Shopton Rd. , Charlotte , 28217:

From I-85 N:  come S. on I-85 to S I-77, exit on the S. Tryon St. exit, turn right go to the 4^th light and make a right onto Shopton Rd – you will see the Academy on the right before the stop sign – turn right and then immediately left, cross in front of the Academy and go to the left side of the building to park.  Enter on the left side of the building and up the stairs, look for room A-2122 or go to the front entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor to room A-2122.

From I-85 S:  go N. on I-85 to I-485 (towards Charlotte ), take the Arrowood Rd. exit, turn left at the light, go to the second light (not counting the exit light) and make a left, go to the second light and make a left onto Shopton Rd. follow rest of directions above.

From I-77 N: go S. on I-77 and follow same directions as I-85 N.

From I-77 S: go N. on I-77, take the Tyvola Rd. exit, make a left, go to S. Tryon St. (about 3-4 lights – it is a large intersection) and make a left then follow directions above.
